TextReels ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our web application at textreels.com and our mobile apps.
Information We Collect
TextReels is designed to collect as little data as possible:
- Usage tracking: We use your browser's localStorage to track the number of videos you have created each month and your subscription status. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
- Video content: When you use the Download MP4 feature, your conversation data (character names, messages, and avatar images) is sent to our rendering server to generate the video. This data is processed in real time and is not stored after the video is generated.
- Payment information: If you subscribe to TextReels Pro, payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To render and deliver video files you request
- To process payments through Stripe
- To enforce usage limits for free-tier users
Hosting
TextReels is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Firebase may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, browser type, access times) as part of its hosting infrastructure. See Firebase's privacy policy for details.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with:
- Stripe: For payment processing
- Google Firebase: For hosting and cloud functions
Data Retention
Usage data stored in localStorage remains on your device until you clear your browser data. We do not retain video content or conversation data on our servers after rendering is complete.
Cookies
TextReels does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We use localStorage only for usage tracking and subscription status.
Children's Privacy
TextReels is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
